TRANSIT: The Los Angeles Shoe Show

ShoesTV headed to downtown Los Angeles for the kick off of TRANSIT, the Los Angeles Shoe Show. We checked out the upcoming lines from hot designers like Jeffrey Campbell, Jessica Simpson, Report Signature and many more. We also met fresh faces who are new to the shoe game but who are bringing some fabulous designs to the table.
TRANSIT Day 1--just the beginning...
We are super excited for the new women's fashion footwear line from CAT Footwear. Ladies, this ain't Mike Rowe's CAT shoes. Shontelle, the 23-year-old Bajan singer-songwriter who is poised to take the pop world by storm, has teamed up with the brand to design a series of super stylish boots.

One of the coolest thing about going to the LA Shoe Show is discovering brand new brands and designers. We met first time designer Aminah Abdul Jillil. Jillil just got off tour as a back up dancer for Britney Spears and has hung up her dancing shoes to try her hand in the shoe biz. ShoesTV will be interviewing her this week for a "My First Collection" feature.

TRANSIT, if you didn't know, is a shoe lover's dream. The top brands bring their top designers or sales reps to show off their shoes. There are free drinks and free swag and even free hairstyling, manicures and eyelash extensions from Studio City's Coif Salon. We highly recommend making the trip and we ourselves will be hitting up TRANSIT again this week. We'll keep you posted...
