Sneak of the Week: Reebok John Wall "Beyond the Gold" Zig Encore

When we stumbled upon today's Sneak of the Week, we experienced serious shiny object syndrome. ShoesTV presents the Reebok John Wall "Beyond the Gold" Zig Encore! This week’s selection has a metallic gold gleam, comes with a watch and sunglasses, and is the most exclusive shoe we’ve ever featured in this column.  When it releases tonight at midnight, only twelve pairs will be available for sale. 

Whether on the bball court or the runway, spring 2012 is all about the bling!

The Zig Encore, like the Reebok "Gold Rush" ZigSlash last year, pays homage to Wizards guard John Wall. While the Reebok ZigSlash sneaks were honoring Wall's debut game in Madison Square Garden, the Zig Encore aims to excite fans about the Wizards’ upcoming showdown with the New York Knicks.

The big game is on Friday, so the shoes are going on sale Ttonight at midnight. There was no word of people camping out at press time, but we’re guessing these shoes will draw a mob.

 Sadly, angels do not descend and sing melodiously every time you open the briefcase. But, opening this briefcase would still be epic.

These are, after all, some wicked shoes. Selling for $200 at Packers Shoes in Teaneck, NJ, the twelve pairs are individually numbered, and come in a limited edition briefcase emblazoned with the JW logo. A FLUD x Reebok “Beyond The Gold” watch and John Wall sunglasses are tucked in beside the shoes.

And, just to sweeten the pot even further, Reebok has slipped a pair of tickets to Friday's game. Considering tickets are selling for anywhere from $99 to several thousand dollars, that's a pretty great deal for a Wizards fan.
