Sneak of the Week: Alexa Chung's Superga 2750

ShoesTV, like many of you, gets style inspiration from hipster model Alexa Chung. The fashionista continues to be the face of Superga sneakers and has taken on an additional role as Creative Director for their SS 2012 campaign for the Superga 2750 Classic sneaker.

It was a no brainer to highlight Chung's Superga 2750 Classic as our Sneak of the Week. Chung has helped make Superga, which comes in a rainbow of colors, a must-have sneaker for the fashion set. The Superga 2750 Classic is the brand's signature unisex model and is made of pure cotton and has vulcanized rubber soles. It has a low-cut, European-style silhouette which gives it a unique look when compared to most American sneakers.
Chung is not the only fashionista to rock Supergas. Celebs like Katie Holmes, Liv Tyler, Guy Ritchie, Fearne Cotton, Kelly Brooke and Kristen Stewart have all been caught rocking a pair of 2750's.

This is a big year for Superga. The Italian footwear company is celebrating 100 years in the shoe biz. The Superga 2750 Classic style has been around since the 1930's and is known as the "people's shoe of Italy."
