The one year exhibit debuts at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, Sweden at the end of this month. According to a press release, "the exhibition will focus on the 100 most important inventions in the history of mankind combining historical perspective with a look into the technology of the future."

This is not the first honor the GPS shoe has received. In 2010 the shoe won the People's Choice Award for Most Innovative Connected Location Device. The GPS shoe, which incorporates twenty-one patents, is the product of a partnership between GTX Corp and footwear company, Aetrex Worldwide.

The GPS Shoe can locate individuals who wander or become lost by tracking them through Google satellite imagery and the global GSM network (the network our phones run).
The shoes are available in two styles for both men and women for $299 and a $30 to $40 monthly monitoring service plan. Get in line now for your award-winning museum-worthy shoes.
