In a few days, SKORA’s BASE and FORM minimal shoes will hit the ground running! SKORA was founded in 2008 by a group of runners who were fed up with the way traditional running shoes were affecting their natural running ability.
SKORA's BASE and FORM running collection
"SKORA was founded with a true passion for running and a commitment to excellence in product and performance. The BASE and FORM truly are the best running shoes ever, and after 4 years in development we're so excited to finally be sharing them with our customers," explained David Sypniewski, SKORA Running Founder and CEO.

SKORA's BASE comes in silver or blue
The shoes feature zero-drop technology keeping the heel and forefoot in the same place. The company says that the minimal cushioning and an anatomical last help maintain the foot’s natural and biomechanically correct movement. Made with a high tensile stretch mesh upper, the lightweight BASE features an X-strap closure system and is being sold for $125.
SKORA'S FORM available in black and natural
The FORM, on the market for $195, is crafted with Pittards Armor-Tan Goatskin leather and lined with WR100 Sheepskin leather remaining soft and breathable even after becoming wet. The FORM also provides asymmetric lacing with no tongue for an improved and snug fit.
Both shoes feature a small sockliner composed of anti-microbial and breathable Ortholite, as well as stitch-down construction, which removes extra seams and stitching on the inside of the shoe. SKORA footwear encourages natural high-performance running with minimal interference giving runners the ability to run free and natural.
SKORA Running is now accepting preorders online and come in men’s sizes eight through 12.
