Thanks to New Life Shoes expecting mothers finally have a shoe that caters to the many needs of their feet throughout pregnancy. The company collaborated with a leading obstetrician and podiatrist to design the shoe for mommies-to-be who need that extra-support and flexibility.

New Life Shoes are designed specifically for pregnant women
From an expanding foot size to swelling from water retention, pregnant women experience a lot of changes in their feet starting in the second trimester.

New Life Shoes feature an expanding stretch construction and a five-layer cushioning system providing added support, breathability and moisture absorption. “It allows for expansion of the foot, both lengthwise and vertically, so it has a 360 degree expansion, as well as five different layers of cushioning and support that are customizable,” Mark Connors, New Life Shoes president explained. Layers of the shoe can easily be removed or added to meet the needs of the changing feet.

Its soon-to-be patented “Z-Fit System” is another amazing aspect of this state-of-the-art shoe. This unique system features a single strap, instead of laces, allowing expecting mothers to use one hand to fasten or adjust the shoe without bending over.

The Z-Fit System
According to the company, all you need is one shoe to last the whole term. The shoes will retail for $80 and will be available starting in mid-February at NewLifeShoes.com. For now, New Life Shoes only come in one style, but look out because other styles of shoes for pregnant feet are in the works!
