Leaving Las Vegas

After three amazing days in Las Vegas at FN Platform, ShoesTV packed our bags and our kitten heels and headed back to Hollywood. We had a blast meeting designers, checking out new collections and talking to people like Betsey Johnson (XO!!), Adrienne Maloof and Mike Rowe--and we're ready to tell all!
Hot off the mayhem of New York Fashion Week, Betsey Johnson made a surprise appearance at MAGIC. ShoesTV waited it out for hours alongside throngs of fans for a chance to speak to the legend herself and we did not wait in vain. Johnson kicked off her heels, threw on a pair of Lanvin sneakers and sat down with us.

Johnson gave us her take on shoes, fashion and the one pair of Betsey Johnson shoes every girl should own. Stay tuned this week to catch the full interview. One gem she left us with, that also happens to be our motto, is "it's all about the shoes."

In addition to icons, there were also fresh faces at FN Platform. We continue to be inspired by new designers that follow their hearts and wade into the waters of footwear design for the first time. One such person is Angela Obidi. She was inspired to start a shoeline Alexandra Aubie after the 2003 New York City blackouts. After walking for miles in uncomfortable shoes, she decided to create shoes that are both stylish and comfortable.
