George Clooney's Shoe Salesman Tales
by The ShoesTV Team January 23rd, 2012 at 4:45 PM
Two things that fascinate us here at ShoesTV are, obviously, shoes and George Clooney - duh. So our hearts skipped a beat when we heard that that handsome sucker worked in a department store in 1979 selling women's shoes. Who would have thought that our two most favorite things ever would come together so harmoniously?

In a recent interview for Newsweek magazine's Oscar Roundtable Clooney tells of his days as an 18-year old shoe sales associate. Our favorite line from the interview is Clooney's right-on-the-money declaration that "all women lie about the size of their foot." Apparently Clooney's experience in footwear was not as pleasant as we'd like to envision. The king of hotness recalled using a "Mr. Potato Head stretcher" to "stretch a corn hole" in a woman's shoe - no pun intended!

And yes, the video unveiled another juicy tidbit. George Clooney wears a size ten and a half shoe.

Clooney as the "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2006
This is not the first time that Clooney has revealed a shoe tale. You may recall that the "Sexiest Man Alive" also admitted to rubbing meatballs on his shoes so he could tempt a dog. That's one lucky dog!
