ShoesTV crashed the red carpet at the Beverly Hills Hotel for the 40th Annual Peace Over Violence Humanitarian Awards Dinner honoring playwright Eve Ensler, who wrote "The Vagina Monologues" and founded the V-Day movement.

Lily Tomlin presented Ensler with the organization's Lifetime Achievement Award and Ensler was thrilled to receive the award from Tomlin, who is one of her idols.

ShoesTV chatted with Ensler about what she had on her feet when she wrote her famous monologues and about what kinds of shoes she thinks women should wear. We also caught up with Dyan Cannon, Frances Fisher, Joan Van Ark and more to talk about, among other things, shoes and peace.
