Anne Hathaway's Catwoman Stilettos

The public has been buzzing with anticipation about the upcoming film "The Dark Knight Rises," which is scheduled for release in summer 2012. But the buzz that ShoesTV is more interested in concerns the shoes that Anne Hathaway (aka Catwoman) will be wearing in what is sure to be an epic film!

You can keep your bat belts, superhero cape, and bulletproof bat suit (No one likes an outfit with too many bells and whistles.) We understand that Hathaway's Catwoman shoes are going to simply blow audiences away. Apparently, the black leather thigh-high stilettos aren't just hot, they also serve a deadly purpose.

"I love the costume," Hathaway told the "Los Angeles Times." "I love the costume because everything has a purpose, nothing is in place for fantasy's sake, and that's the case with everything in [director] Christopher Nolan's Gotham City."

That costume includes feline-esque stiletto heels that complement a black leather catsuit, a black cat eye mask, black gloves, and cat ears. The "Los Angeles Times" described the heels as having "serrated edges capable of leaving nasty claw marks in a fight." Stiletto heels that double as a weapon? Meow.
